FUKASAWA CASTLE RUINS
Shukumeguri Jo, Kurohonecho, Kiryu

The castle located at this site was the residence of the feudal lord Akuzawa during the Warring States Period, but was deserted in 1590. Battle records remain which vividly recount the maelstrom of conflict that occurred under the leadership of various shogun, including Lords Kiryu, Uesugi and Hojo.
