Kiryu Fashion Week attempts to rekindle the prosperous ambiance of the silk market in Kiryu of long ago. Textiles, art, traditional crafts, culture, history, fashion, music, and cuisine are the theme of this multi-faceted week-long event. In 2010, Fashion Week begins on Friday, Oct. 29 and ends on Sunday, Nov. 7. Over this 10 day period, groups sponsor a whole host of interesting activities at locations around the city.
