| The Caribbean Beach is an indoor heated water amusement park located about 15 minutes by car from Kiryu, in Niisato Village. The energy used to heat the water park is generated by the Sanitation Center which is located next to the Water Park. When refuse is burned in the Sanitation Center, the heat generated is funneled off to the Water Park. The Caribbean Beach is constructed with a tropical island motif, making for a year-round warm amusement center for local citizens. In the center of the facility, waves regularly roll in and out just like the ocean. Body boarding is permitted in this area. There is also a giant water slide and "Rodeo Mountain" - a thrilling water ride which all children love. Next to the water slide there is a pool with flowing water, reminiscent of the clear streams flowing in Caribbean islands. Finally, for serious swimmers, there is an olympic size heated swimming pool. Visitors to the Caribbean Beach can also take advantage of the jacuzzis and other forms of relaxation. The facility is open year round from 9 am. |
